| Yes we got Cows too!! This is probably a summer I will never forget..We started out being shocked that a Black Organic Farm even existed, then we created a ceremony where we actually brought a piece of Africa to the farm. Then we participated in the preparing, planting and cultivating of the vegetables the organic farm produces. And while doing all the above, we also engaged in the purchase and introduction to the farm, both pigs and now cows. |

| My first lesson about cows was learn as soon as they were delivered to the farm. Cows have a leader, who has the responsibility to lead the others on a survey of the fence line as soon as they are placed in a new surroundings. The process is so thorough they will not stop until they have surveyed the until farm. It was quite a sight to see. Kind of scary, because now you realize cows have a lot of sense or can actually think. |
